First RUBCC Flag - 4th XI
Vs Rutherglen @ Barr 2.
3rd XI Salute in Benalla.
In what can only be described as a controversial fixture, the 3rd XI won a nail biting final in Benalla. With rain disrupting play, Winter and Drage batted time to set up a draw and a memorable victory.
4th XI do it easy.
Lead by a Senaka Lakmal 100, RUBCC did the job easily as they defeated Rutherglen for a second time in as many seasons.
Barest of margins
The first taste of success for the 1st XI by a solitary wicket. Bartlett and McCarthy do the unthinkable.
2nd XI taste first bit of success
Rubcc travelled to Yarrawonga to take on the highly fancied Lakers. O'Donohue helped set a defendable total before the bowlers did the job,
Back to Back
RUBCC lost the toss and bowled first vs Wangaratta Magpies. It soon became evident that it was a good toss to lose as Wangaratta was bowled out for 84 just after tea. McNamara and Nixon withstood an onslaught as RUBCC got home with 6 wickets in hand.
Doyle's Day Out
4th XI won their 3rd flag, this time against Gapsted. The match will be remembered for Selby Doyle's memorable spell in which he netted 7 wickets.
Fourth time lucky
Drage put in another man of the match performance in a GF to get A Reserve their first taste of March success. It wasn't for lack of trying though, having made the final on three previous occasions.
One Day Glory - 2025
1st XI defeats Wang Magpies by 7 wickets. Charlie Lugg MOTM with 5 wickets.
